In spray drying, droplet size dictates quality, efficiency, and consistency. The SprayDry® DualDry™ Nozzle delivers smaller droplets, down to less than 10 microns, using a powerful dual atomization process. High-pressure hydraulic spraying forms the initial fine droplets, then compressed air further reduces and tightens the distribution for better powder uniformity and faster drying.

Smarter Spray Drying with Dual Atomization

Traditional air atomizing nozzles often struggle to consistently produce ultra-fine powders. The DualDry™ solves this by integrating two stages of droplet formation: a high-pressure liquid stream initiates the atomization, and compressed air finishes the job, delivering a narrower drop size distribution and improved repeatability across batches.

Operators can easily fine-tune performance with multiple air caps, orifice sizes, and nozzle configurations. Optional steam compatibility makes the nozzle ideal for starch cooking. Removing other thermal processing applications.
