The AutoJet® antimicrobial spray system for bagged whole muscle products precisely sprays antimicrobial into packages before vacuum sealing. Vacuum-sealing of the packages distributes the antimicrobial evenly around the product. The efficacy of this SLIC® (Sprayed Lethality in Container) process has been established by the USDA/ARS.
