Mechanical Design Engineer
Employment at our brand new facility in Deinze
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Analyzing client expectations
- Design new creative mechanical spray solutions
- Create BOM (Bill Of Material), select vendors and negotiate pricing
- Carry out various engineering tasks, such as mechanical design / 3D design
- Generate detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation for prototypes and assembly.
- Making quotations for customer requests using our Quotation tool
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in mechanical design processes
Your skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in field related to mechanical / electromechanical designing
- Ideally 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar position / fast learner
- Proficient skills in design & subsequent drawing
- Very good knowledge of CAD/CAM-programs. Specifically AutoDesk Inventor
- You are punctual and work accurate with a sense of responsibility
- You work well in a team environment and have organizing qualities
- Problem solving capabilities
- Knowledge of industrial production processes, pneumatic components and actuators
- Knowledge of motion, energy and force
- Fluency in English and Dutch. Other languages are an asset
