Mechanical Project Engineer
Spraying Systems AutoJet Belgium is currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer for Oil & Gas special injectors manufacturing. The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for costing projects using the approved corporate tools, and design and calculations according to ASME and EN standards.

Your Duties & Responsibilities:
- PRE-ORDER PHASE:
- Prepare quotes based on sales requests and customer specifications, aligning with ASME code and EU standards.
- Generate drawings and/or sketches using Inventor to support quotations.
- Conduct ASME and EU standards based calculations to determine product specifications, prioritizing safety.
- Source prices from suppliers for mechanical components like pipes, pipe fittings, valves, NDE services, etc., to facilitate accurate quoting.
- POS-ORDER PHASE:
- Create Bill of Material (BOM) and release it for purchasing processes.
- Oversee project components receiving process.
- Develop General Arrangement drawings for approval.
- Produce weld maps adhering to ASME/AWS standards.
- Generate shop drawings.
- Prepare project manufacturing schedules at a macro level.
- Elaborate Technical Manuals, Document Lists, Spare Lists, Inspection and Test Plans, Painting Plans, Calculation Memorials and Data Sheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Piping Projects.
- Knowledge of pipes, pipe fittings, valves, bars and materials is recommended.
- Proficiency in Vault, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASME B31.3 and EN 13480 standards is a plus.
This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
