Alcohol (ethanol) is often added to the packaging of packaged fresh pastries or baked goods such as toast in order to significantly extend the shelf life of the products. The amount of ethanol to be dosed depends on the weight of the products and, because the processing takes place in very fast operating packaging machines, need to be done quickly and accurately.

The AutoJet® dosing systems for ethanol offer precise dosing with high repeatability. Simple dosing requires regular calibration but is more cost-effective. The advanced versions offer high precision dispensing through the use of flow meters. This guarantees the applied amount of ethanol and thus product safety. Our standard AutoJet® software has all possible fine settings for correct control of the dosing process and can also store recipes for different products on the same packaging line.
