Car Wash Spray Applications
From the first foam blanket to the final spotless rinse, the spray you deliver defines the customer experience and your bottom line. As the global leader in spray technology, and your local partner in the EMEA region, we help car-wash operators optimize water and chemical use, improve consistency and boost sustainability across all car wash spray applications.
Why Optimized Car Wash Spray Applications Matter
Nozzles wear and flow can drift over time. Even a nozzle that looks fine may be spraying well above its rated capacity, wasting water and chemicals without leaving visible streaks. Correct nozzle selection, materials and maintenance restore pattern accuracy, improve consistency and help control operating costs.
Key Challenges in Car Wash Spray Applications - Solved
- Water & chemical consumption: Correct-capacity nozzles and timely change-outs stop over-spraying and cut waste.
- Nozzle wear & clogging: Ceramic or hardened stainless options significantly extend service life, while built-in/inline strainers keep grit out.
- Sustainability: Lower volumes reduce pump load and wastewater - key metrics for ESG reporting.
- Throughput & uptime: Quick-connect designs and clear maintenance intervals shorten bay interruptions and keep queues moving.

Car Wash Spray Applications for Every Stage
Pressure Washing
For touchless cleaning power, WashJet® IMEG® flat-fan nozzles deliver a high-impact, uniform pattern at operating pressures up to 345 bar, with narrow angles from 5° for concentrated cleaning (broader angles available to 80°). CERAMAX® WashJet® nozzles offer ceramic wear life at pressures up to 276 bar with even distribution above 20 bar. Quick-connect versions (QCIMEG/QCMEG) simplify change-outs and help minimize bay downtime.
Undercarriage Washing & Rinsing
High-flow VeeJet® or P FlatJet® nozzles target tyres, wheel wells and chassis components. For undercarriage, use medium angles - e.g., VeeJet® to 110° or P FlatJet® 15–50° - to balance impact and coverage. Start with filtered recycled water and switch to fresh water for the final rinse to improve finish quality and reduce nozzle wear in the rinse stage.
