PanelSpray ®

Release Agent Application for Engineered Wood Production

At Spraying Systems Co., we understand the challenges of applying release agents consistently in engineered wood manufacturing. Whether you produce particle board, OSB or MDF, our PanelSpray® release agent system delivers precise, automated and efficient coverage for both mat and belt applications.

How the System Works

The PanelSpray® system combines PulsaJet® automatic spray nozzles with an AutoJet® spray controller to deliver fine, even coatings that adapt to your production in real time.

  • PulsaJet® nozzles operate at up to 15,000 cycles per minute for precise, uniform droplet size and spray coverage.

  • The AutoJet® E2850+ controller adjusts to changing line speeds, recipe requirements and spray zones with no manual intervention.

  • Multi-PWM spray layouts allow each nozzle to run independently, enabling variable spray patterns and flow rates to suit different products and production conditions.

This closed-loop system monitors and adjusts performance continuously for consistent, high-efficiency operation.

Key Benefits

  • Better Quality:
Even coverage extends wood lifespan and protects against pests and decay.
  • Prevent Press Sticking & Contamination:
Protect press mats and steel belts with a clean, uniform spray that ensures smooth panel release and extends equipment life.
  • Reduce Maintenance and Downtime:
Less residue. Fewer clean-ups. Longer operating time. More uptime, more output.
  • Lower Chemical Costs:
Smart spray control means no waste, just the right amount of release agent, every time.
  • Consistent, High-Quality Panels:
Achieve a uniform surface finish and reduce production defects across every board.
