Field / Service Engineer

Employment at our facility in Gardanne

Your duties and responsibilities:

• On-site startups and maintenance of installations
• Identify potential problems and escalate as necessary
• First line of technical support for clients, concerning sold systems
• (Basic) functional testing of systems in production as supporting role or in order to familiarize with new systems 
• Assisting in assembly of projects/installations
• Troubleshooting in occurrence of issues
  

Your skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (Electromechanical) engineering

• Experience with TIA Portal to support Siemens PLC platforms

• You are resilient in stressful situations and have a customer-friendly mindset

• You can read and understand electrical schemes

• You work well in a team environment

• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components (like valves and sensors)

• You like to travel in Europe (typically 1 to 5 times per month)

• Excellent problem-solving and organizing skills

• You are punctual and work accurate with a sense of responsibility

• Fluency in French and English is mandatory, other languages are an asset
