A short animation on the principles of operation on the Spraying Systems Co. FloMax® X Series. FloMax® nozzles are not traditional air atomizing nozzles. Using patented multi-stage atomization processes, FloMax® nozzles produce very small drops with exceptional efficiency. Compressed air use and energy consumption are low. The FloMax® X series is typically used in gas cooling and conditioning applications and have a liquid turndown ratio of up to 10:1. This allows the air pressure to be constant while the liquid varies based on process requirements.
