Nozzle Wear Calculator

Find out how much using worn spray nozzles is costing in your operations. You may be surprised to learn how much you’re wasting and the impact on profitability.

Not sure?

The average cost per gallon in the US for water is $0.048 and the average per gallon cost for sewer is $0.074. If you are spraying a chemical diluted with water and are unsure of the cost, you may wish to use $0.70 to represent a cost of $7.00 per gallon sprayed at a 10:1 dilution ration. The cost of your chemical may be much higher and your disposal costs may be as well.

Potential savings:

If your worn nozzles are spraying at 10% over rated capacity, new nozzles could save you:

NOTE: Worn nozzles spraying 10%, 20% or even 30% over capacity can often not be detected visually. Be sure to monitor nozzle flow rate carefully to ensure peak spray system performance.
