Electric UtilitiesSpray technology is widely used in most plants generating electricity and so are our spray nozzles. Plants count on us to provide expert advice to solve dust suppression problems in fuel storage areas, conveyors and transfer points. We also provide nozzle solutions for cleaning mist eliminator equipment and gas cooling in wet scrubbers cooling towers and ducts prior to ESPs and baghouses. Typical solutions include: Dust SuppressionSmall capacity SpiralJet®, WhirlJet®, FullJet® and J Series air atomizing nozzles are common solutions to knocking down airborne particles without excess wetting. The size of the dust particle will determine which spray nozzle will provide the best performance so be sure to contact your local sales engineer for drop size information and guidance. Wet ScrubbersNozzles constructed of silicon carbide are a necessity for use in wet scrubbers. Historically, these nozzles have been associated with long lead-times and high cost. We've expanded our manufacturing capabilities to ensure we can offer a wide range of silicon carbide nozzles in a reasonable timeframe and at cost-competitive prices. Choose from right-angle WhirlJet®, SpiralJet® and FullJet® single or dual orifice nozzles in a variety of spray angles, capacities, sizes and connection types. Mist Eliminator EquipmentIf mist eliminator performance is compromised, scrubber performance will suffer as well. That's why keeping mist eliminator blades clean is so important. Our FullJet spray nozzles are widely used for cleaning mist eliminator equipment because they offer a true full cone spray pattern and superior, thorough cleaning. Options include: Plastic FullJet nozzles, available in Kynar® or polypropylene: These molded nozzles feature an internal vane that provides stability and produces a uniform spray pattern and even distribution. Maximum Free Passage (MFP) FullJet nozzles: Our patented design ensures clog-free performance and an even, consistent spray pattern. Constructed of 316 stainless steel, MFP FullJet nozzles are ideally suited for use with scrubber make up water. Gas Cooling and ConditioningFloMax® air atomizing nozzles offer superior cooling performance without wetting and are quickly becoming the industry standard. FloMax nozzles use a patented multi-stage atomization process to produce very small drops with exceptional efficiency. Compressed air and energy consumption are low. Plus, the nozzles offer significantly higher turndown ratios than standard air atomizing nozzles for maximum operating flexibility. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Arkema Inc.
